How do people come up with low-carb ice cream? Mammoth Creameries co-founder Tim Krauss comes on the show to talk about his diagnosis and how it led to starting such a company.
Tim is not just a T1D, he’s also an ultramarathoner. He recently signed up for a 200-mile race! Listen in to find out more about how Tim manages his diabetes and balances it with the rest of his life.

Wins & Fails
Jessie’s Win: She’s getting her Invisalign retainers on pretty soon, and she’s excited about it!
Colleen’s Fail: My last sensor was cutting out pretty badly the last day, but I kept it on so I could change it on Friday morning instead of earlier on Thursday night. As a result, I didn’t sleep very well and had some weird readings overnight that were wrong when I checked against the meter.
Tip of the Week
Grab travel sizes of mouth wash or gum. I don’t know about you, but if I have to have too many low snacks, my mouth feels gross. Having some kind of freshener helps.
