Singer/songwriter and former pediatric clinical researcher Kieran James joins us to talk about his daughter’s diagnosis, the importance of clinical trials, and how music gave him an outlet from the frustrations of T1D.
Meet Kieran James
Kieran’s daughter was diagnosed at 5 in 2007. He was the stay at home parent who was in charge of her care. When she started high school, he went to back to school to get his clinical research certification and started working at Stanford University as a clinical research assistant.
